To verify your identity when opening a ticket, we may ask for a Paypal/Google Checkout transaction ID or support access PIN.
How to find your Paypal Transaction ID
Login to your PayPal account, click 'Advanced search' in the lower left corner, and then search for 'email@example.com'. The Paypal transaction ID is a mix of numbers and letters, such as '11JDSOSA28DH2HCC3QOW'.
How to find your Google Checkout Transaction ID
If you used Google Checkout to pay us, you will need to supply your Google Checkout order number. Login to your Google Checkout account and type 'evohosting' to the search box. The order number will be on the left.
How to find/set your Support Access PIN
If you paid us using a credit/debit card, you will not have a transaction ID. As a result, you will need to set up your Support Access PIN via our clients area. Login to your client area, click 'My Account' in the menu at the top of the screen, and you will see your Support Access Pin towards the bottom of your account details.
You should change your PIN on a regular basis, and you should never use your phone number (which is available in your domain's WHOIS details), your date of birth (available on Facebook, MySpace, forums you visit), or something generic like 123456 or PASSWORD. Your support access PIN can be a mix of numbers and letters.
